Rod has over 40 years experience in a wide range of complex commercial and property transactions. Rod has a reputation for providing timely, flexible, practical and commercial advice to clients in relation to:


  •   The acquisition and sale of shares, assets and businesses and management buy-outs in private companies
  •   The acquisition and sale of commercial, retail, industrial and mixed use properties including hotels, restaurants and other licensed premises
  •   Acting for and advising hotel developers and hoteliers in relation to various licensing and related commercial needs
  •   Advising and acting in relation to major development projects including subdivisions
  •   Drafting and negotiating complex Distribution Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Employment Contracts and general commercial     documentation
  •   Advising on corporate structuring including Shareholder, Unit Holder, Partnership and Trust Structures
  •   Commercial litigation in New South Wales, Victorian and Queensland Supreme Courts
  •   Land and Environment Court litigation
  •   Liquor licensing matters including Community Impact Statements (CIS), License Applications, Submissions, Transfers and general advice
  •   Rural conveyancing including the sale, purchase and lease of rural properties and related enterprises
  •   Deceased estates including Applications and Administrations, contested Applications and related claims


Rod's general interests include his farm, tennis, golf and walking. Rod has been involved with the Albury-Wodonga Steamers Rugby Union Club for over 39 years both as a player, supporter and past President and is currently Vice President of the club.
